The title is the name of a book which no i havent read but its a nice name. but this blog isnt about that darkness and chill. its about human reaction to death, or should i say, the way we are supposed to react to death. because honestly sometimes i think thats what we do. its easier to do than even begin to probe into how you feel about the concept of death, leave alone the death of the particular person.
respectful condolocenses is one thing, but what about the judgemental way we react if a person close to the deceased chooses not to cry their heart out। why is it wrong to stoically accept it? isnt that what understanding the dynamics of the universe about? seasons come and go, a birth is just the same as a death. it leaves you with a sense of wonder, a sense of being in the hands of some great cycle a cog in the wheel knowing that - thankfully - there is such a thing as destiny, that we dont control it all. something equalises what has to be equalised.
i wish we'd let people be. let them ponder and figure things out. not just kill them with not only your divine opinions about dealing with death but also tell them what questions they must be pondering over and what the correct answers are.(this post has been pending for a long time.wrote it in march sometime)
